Tanz Company Gervasi is looking for dance artists who wish to develop, explore, and bring a performative concept to life, guided in the fields of choreography, dramaturgy, and music, while integrating into the project and utilizing the infrastructure of Tanz Company Gervasi;
​
The programme will include:
- Temporary use of the company's rehearsal space ‘Raum 33’ at Laxenburger Straße 32, 1110,
from April 2025 to December 2025
- Mentoring and artistic support from Elio Gervasi and the members of Tanz Company Gervasi, project coordination from Paula Dominici, dramaturgical support from Karl Baratta, musical support from Alessandro Vicard
- There will be opportunities to take classes with the dancers from the company and Elio Gervasi.
- Utilisation of the existing lighting technology in the room​
- Materials: some materials, video, scenography etc. can be made available​
- Public performances at the end of the programme​
- A rehearsal week in which the material developed by the individual artists is brought together to form a performance
We are looking for five to seven artists living in Austria.
A new schedule for the use of the space will be drawn up each month, adapted to the needs of the participants, the rehearsals of Tanz Company Gervasi and guest productions in the space.
Dates for performances and final rehearsals are set by the group depending on the participants' availability.
A joint meeting is held every two months at which all those involved in the project can exchange ideas, both in terms of content and artistically. If participants are unable to attend, they have the opportunity to participate via video. At the request of the participants, these meetings could also be used as
be used as informal performances.

The programme aims to support a growing group of not yet established dance artists in Austria who wish to further develop and explore their potential but have the necessary resources and context to do so.Territori-di-ricerca! offers a clear structure that goes beyond the limitation of a short-term residency and allows participants to organise their time in relation to their professional commitments.
Territori-di-ricerca offers a high degree of flexibility for those involved in other activities or artistic productions.
The programme is open to new ideas on how to use the available resources.
On 23rd April there will be a first meeting with the selected participants in room 33.
All participants will receive a payment for their participation, which will be communicated as soon as the participants have been selected.
